Branding, stationery, website and digital media outfits for The Onion Project, a Berlin-based dinner club promoting pop-up dinners with storytelling recipes. From the logo, a system was structured by 2 layers: the text, always consisting of the combination of Value Serif and the PDU (highlights), both from Colophon, and the onion icons, which overlap the text on different scales. With these elements, a versatile language has been established, which can be both complex and fun, adapting to the needs of each environment in which it is applied. Carolina, the project’s creator, has always wanted to explore her family recipes on a personal project. An excellent cook, with The Onion Project, the former architect was able to pass on this knowledge that contains so many stories and curiosities, always sharing the table with her friends.
