Nostalgia for England and a flair for interiors result in a joyous mix of colour and style. Dudleigh, as the house is named, was built in 1892 by a Mr Beddard, owner of Castlemaine’s Royal Hotel, who planted a vineyard on the surrounding eight hectares of “rocks and dreadful soil”.
