Nodo is a display typeface inspired by the modular alphabet geometries. A monospace with a rational aesthetics, projected to keep a good legibility even when at small sizes. The rigidity of the grid – inside where modules are rotated and positioned – generates constantly renewed forms, some are softer and sinuous, others are stiffer and squared. The rhythm between black and white creates an arithmetical dissimilarity, as if they were parts of different alphabets. Each letter is a ‘nodo’(knot). Nodo is released in two styles, Black and Outline, and it covers more than 80 Latin languages with its 375 glyphs.
