Weiwuying National Art and Culture Center, by the Dutch “McKeno Architects” François. Francine Houben and Taiwan’s Luo Xinghua architects jointly designed and supervised the building. The building is inspired by the original old banyan tree cluster. The continuous curved roof is like a canopy. It houses four exhibition spaces and a semi-open banyan tree square. The space stretches the free-form surface into the earth and becomes part of the undulating landscape.
